Emergency Garage Door Service in Lancaster County

A garage door emergency doesn't schedule itself. Springs break at 6am before work. Cables snap when you're leaving for a doctor's appointment. Doors get stuck open overnight in January. These aren't situations where you want to wait a week for an appointment — and you don't have to.

We dispatch same-day across Lancaster County and carry the most common replacement parts on every truck so most emergencies can be resolved in a single visit.

What Counts as a Garage Door Emergency?

Door Stuck Open

A door stuck in the open position is a security emergency. Rain, cold, and anyone walking by has access to your home. We treat this as highest priority.

Broken Torsion Spring

The most common emergency call we get. Door won't move, often with a loud bang overnight. We carry torsion springs sized for most Lancaster County homes.

Snapped Cable

One side of the door drops when a cable snaps. The door becomes unsafe to operate manually. We replace cables in pairs and inspect all related hardware.

Car Trapped Inside

Opener failure or structural problem with the door keeping your car in the garage. We dispatch quickly so this doesn't turn into a missed day of work.

What to Do While You Wait

If your door is stuck open: don't try to force it closed manually if a spring or cable has failed — you can injure yourself or damage the door further. If you have a side entry door to your garage, use it to secure the space until we arrive. If not, stay home or have a neighbor keep an eye on the property.

If your door is stuck closed: don't try to manually pull it open if the spring is broken. The door is extremely heavy without spring counterbalance — typically 130–200 lbs for a two-car steel door. Most manual releases won't help with a broken spring and can be dangerous.

Emergency Service Pricing

Emergency service is priced at our standard rates. We don't charge emergency premiums for same-day service during normal hours (7am–7pm). We'll quote you firm before starting any work — no surprises when the invoice comes.
